Activities
- Incorporate existing tools (e.g., NCDB OPIs, the Classroom Observation instrument, and FileMaker Pro database) into an evaluation system to analyze effective technical assistance
- Develop and disseminate outcomes-based evaluation model
- Identify partners for pilot
- Conduct training on model
- Conduct formative & summative evaluation of model
- Make changes based on evaluation feedback & re-employ with pilot partners
Projected Outcomes
- To increase TA recipient's knowledge and skill about formative and summative evaluation
- To increase knowledge about outcomes-based evaluation model to document impact
- To increase knowledge about fidelity measures to document implementation
- To increase implementation of formative and summative evaluation for ongoing feedback and continuous improvement
- To increase implementation of an outcomes-based evaluation model

- Increased documentation of positive educational outcomes for children who are deaf-blind, their service providers and families
