Overview

The brain processes sensory information from the environment and is the body's communication headquarters. The effects of the reduced sensory input that comes with combined hearing and vision loss has extraordinary implications for individual development and communication. The materials presented below are very specific to the brain in the context of deaf-blindness and provide a window into some of the issues and findings.
