NCDB's Intervener Initiative
NCDB has been directed by OSEP to provide recommendations for continuing and future services related to the provision of interveners for children with deaf-blindness. The deadline for NCDB to submit the recommendations to OSEP is May 30, 2012. A two step process has been identified to get the work off the ground. The first step is to identify and report detailed information about the current status of intervener services and practices in the U.S. Step two will be to craft recommendations for future services based on analysis of this information.
