How to Access TA

Technical assistance to agencies and service providers is typically initiated and planned through each state's Project for Children and Young Adults who are Deaf-Blind. These federally funded projects assist families, state or local agencies, and organizations who are responsible for providing early intervention, education and transition services.

Through its collaborative efforts with the state deaf-blind projects, NCDB provides technical assistance (TA) to families of children and youth who are deaf-blind, their service providers and to a variety of agencies which serve them. These may include:

  • Family
  • State Project's for Children and Youth Who Are Deaf-Blind
  • State Education Agencies
  • State Early Intervention (Part C) Lead Agencies
  • Adult Service Agencies

To find out how you may become involved in local technical assistance activities, contact your state Project for Children and Youth Who Are Deaf-Blind or NCDB.
