Brl-help is an internet discussion group incepted to promote the discussion and sharing of ideas about braille instruction. This mailing list is open to teachers and students of braille and to all people who have specific questions or responses to questions about braille instruction, who can share successful stragegies that have worked in teaching braille, and who wish to discuss resources and materials that are available. Input is solicited from special education and rehabilitation teachers of braille, preschool and general education teachers of children who are blind or visually impaired, and parents and family members of blind individuals.
To subscribe to the list, send an e-mail message to majordomo@afb.org. Leave the subject category blank, and place "subscribe brl-help" as the text in the body of the message (without quotation marks). You will receive a message that you have been added to the list, and be given instructions on how to send messages, etc.

INTNDB-L, an International Letter for Deafblind People, is now available via email from F�reningen Sveriges D�vblinda, the Swedish Deafblind Organization. The International Newsletter has almost 1000 readers, of which 310 are deafblind persons. Most of them do not have computers, but among those who do are many professionals, representatives of various institutions, and members of the World Blind Union.
