Title: Patti McGowan- Missing Information PATTI MCGOWAN: My son will say perhaps what he needs and it's hard to because sometimes as a student with deaf-blindness or a learner with deaf-blindness, although he's very able to communicate, say, to a teacher. If he misses something, he doesn't know what he's missed. And so it's so important for that intervener because she can pre-teach or reteach or just fill in those missing gaps. Because he doesn't know what he doesn't know or he doesn't know what he hasn't heard or he doesn't know what doesn't see sometimes. So it's very important for that whole team to come together and to be there to help with those missing pieces for that information that he is missing so that he's able to access better information and continue to grow as a learner.
