New Resource from the NRTC on Blindness & Low Vision
The 4to24 app is a free resource for parents or caretakers of children and youth between the ages of 4 to 24 years old who are deaf-blind or have combined visual and hearing impairments.
Created by the National Research & Training Center on Blindness & Low Vision, the app helps families support youth in:
- Communication and concept development
- Involvement in community life and building support systems
- Preparing for employment to the youth’s highest potential
The app provides age-appropriate information and resources for parents to help their child build skills over time, with activities and recommendations that are flexible for different ability levels.
The 4to24 app is available for iPhone, Android, and on the web.
