Post Secondary Transition: Finding a Personal Life Path
Starts with Interests 

David Wiley has provided training and consultation through the
Texas DeafBlind Project for over 30 years, taking the lead on
transition of students to adult life and interagency coordination.
David will present on the importance of helping students identify
and discover interests and preferences during the school years.
July 1 Person-Centered Planning
Nancy Salem-Hartshorne, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at
Delta College and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
Nancy has authored numerous articles and book chapters about
developmental outcomes for individuals with CHARGE Syndrome.
Nancy will present on the differences between Individualized
Educational Plans and Person-Centered Plans and the purpose of
each type of plan.

The Impact of Deafblindness for Children 0-5: Brace for Impact
This series of two webinars, presented by Dr. Tanni Anthony, will focus
on the highlights and challenges associated with pediatric deafblindness
and the need for services tailored to this population. This series will also
cover the impact of deafblindness on communication and concept
development for children in the 0-5 age range. References will be made
to the Communication Matrix.
