A Parent’s Perspective on Supporting and Advocating for Her Deafblind Son

This webinar, hosted by the Deafblind International Communication Network, features Lilias Liston who will share some of her early experiences as a mother to a child with deafblindness, how she was able to equip herself to recognise her son’s communicative and cognitive potential, and how he coped and explored the world. It is one of a series of webinars for family members of children and adults who were born with deafblindness or those with limited language (speech or sign) who wish to develop their own communication skills and the skills of their family member.
