OSEP Impact Story - Making a Difference

"Making a Difference: Professional Development for Early Intervention With Children Who Are Deafblind,” now available on the NCDB website, was created in response to a request from the Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs to tell a story highlighting an achievement related to improving outcomes for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities and their families. The story describes why the National Center on Deafblindness chose to create a module for early intervention practitioners, what makes it unique, and how state deafblind projects and NCDB can use it to help make professional development on this topic more widely available.
