OHOA Module: Availability for Learning

Introduction

Time to complete: 10 minutes

In this module, you will learn how to tell if students are "available to learn" and create conditions that will help them become available to learn. Availability to learn means being emotionally and physically ready to engage with people, absorb information, and pay attention to what is occurring around you.

Students who are available to learn are:

  • Alert
  • Attentive
  • Interested
  • Not over-stimulated
